February – July 2020 — As a follow-up to the SDG Week winning projects, UN-Habitat provided technical guidance to government officials in transforming proposals into projects with detailed objectives, outputs, planned activities, risk assessment and mitigation, indicators, among other aspects. The consultancy also made recommendations on the next steps of implementation.
The three selected projects addressed the main challenges of Niterói in relation to its sustainable development
1) CaminhaNit proposes an innovative and active form of transport for children and teenagers with educational purposes;
2) Entre Olhares e Possibilidades aims to improve the situation of homeless people;
3) MobNit seeks to enhance data and management of the mobility system.
