13 – 17 February 2017 — UN-Habitat organized a workshop held in Naivasha, Kenya. The workshop aimed at developing a common understanding of the challenges for monitoring and reporting of the SDG and to acquire knowledge on the various indicators and methodologies as well as means of implementation of the SDG11. A group of 70 experts from different countries representing UN agencies, universities, research centers, EU and statistical agencies of member states gathered to discuss and improve their skills and knowledge. The programme was led by the Global Urban Observatory of UN-Habitat.
